When I was in my
mid thirties I was looking for something, I was not sure who I was or
where I was going, so I started my quest…….. marathon running, parachuting
[only one jump mind you!] heptathlons [had trouble with the canoeing
it was hard to get away from the bank!] and so the search went until
one day I was drawn to a Yoga Class. The class was just
right for me and the teacher guided me on my journey, I then felt the
need to visit India and the Himalayas .which endorsed my belief that
I was on the right path for me. I became Abhaya Rupa in 1995 and my quest still continues and I am affiliated to Mandala Yoga Ashram. I decided that I needed to retrain as a Yoga Teacher and I completed the Teacher Training at Mandala Yoga Ashram through The British Wheel of Yoga which is the Sport England National Governing Body for Yoga. My qualifications are: Mandala Yoga Ashram trained Teacher, British Wheel of Yoga acredited Trained in:
Yoga is my way of life and I feel that to bring the benefits that I have received to others is now my quest. |
